What we mean by bulky waste
Bulky waste is the stuff that doesn’t fit in a wheelie bin and that you can’t get to the tip on your own — the sofa that’s been waiting in the spare room, the mattress that came with the flat, the wardrobes from a house you’re selling, or the white goods left after a kitchen refit. It’s heavy, awkward and nobody’s idea of a fun Saturday.
Two of us turn up in a 16 cubic yard van — about 1.5× the size of a typical waste van — and we do all the lifting. Items are collected from wherever they are: upstairs, basement, loft, garage or back garden. Beds and wardrobes are dismantled on the spot, everything goes to a licensed transfer station, and we sweep through before we leave.

We collect the same day, where we can
Message us before mid-morning with a photo and we can often be at your door within a few hours. Next-day is almost always available. You get a time window, and we turn up when we said we would.
One flat price, told to you upfront
The price we quote on the photo is the price you pay — no per-item fees, no “that’s awkward so it’s extra”. The only add-ons are access ones: £10 per flight of stairs and £30 for carries over 10 metres, and we flag those before we take the job, never on the day.
From inside your home
You don’t drag anything to the kerb. We come in, dismantle what needs dismantling, carry it out and sweep the floor before we leave. That’s the difference between a bulky waste collection and a removals team doing a mini-house-clearance.

Every load goes to licensed facilities in South Wales, most of it is sorted for recycling, and we’ll send you the waste transfer note if you want it — useful for landlords, letting agents and anyone who wants a proper paper trail.

What counts as bulky waste?
Anything too big for a wheelie bin and awkward to shift yourself: sofas, armchairs, mattresses, bed frames, wardrobes, tables, white goods, carpets, exercise equipment and old garden furniture. If you can't lift it to the tip, it's bulky — and we'll take it from wherever it is in your home.
How much does bulky waste collection cost in Cardiff?
Flat prices, quoted upfront on a photo: sofas from £40, mattresses £50 any size, a half van £290 and a full 16-cubic-yard van £450. No per-item fees, no hourly rates — the price we quote is the price you pay, once the van is loaded and you're happy.
Do you take white goods?
Yes — washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, ovens and cookers are all fine, and they're included in a van load with no extra charge. The only things we can't take are fridges and freezers, and asbestos.
Do you collect from inside the house?
Yes. We work from wherever the items are — upstairs bedrooms, basements, lofts and back gardens. Beds and wardrobes are dismantled on the spot, we carry everything out ourselves, and we sweep through before we leave.
How quickly can you collect?
Same day where we can, especially in Cardiff and Newport — message us before mid-morning with a photo and we'll often be there within a few hours. Next-day slots are almost always available.
