Terms & conditions

1. Who these terms are with
These terms apply to work carried out by Alpha Waste Removal Ltd, company number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office [REGISTERED ADDRESS], registered waste carrier CBDU034669. Booking a collection means you accept them.
2. Quotes and prices
- Estimates given on this website, including from the price calculator, are guides based on what you tell us. They are not binding quotes.
- A fixed price is the one we confirm after seeing photos or the job itself.
- If what is actually there is materially more than described, we will tell you the revised price before we load anything. You are free to say no at that point and owe us nothing.
- Prices include labour, loading, transport, disposal and clearing up. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
3. Booking and access
- Time slots are estimates. Traffic, tip queues and earlier jobs overrunning all happen; we will keep you posted.
- You need to give us safe, lawful access to the waste, and permission to remove it.
- You confirm the waste is yours to dispose of, or that you have the owner's authority.
- If we cannot get access on the agreed day and you have not told us, a call-out charge of [£ AMOUNT] may apply.
4. What we cannot take
Asbestos, chemicals, oils, solvents, fuel, gas bottles, clinical or medical waste, and anything else classed as hazardous. If hazardous material is found within a load we may leave it and adjust the price accordingly. Please tell us in advance if you think there is any.
5. Your items
- Check the load before we leave. Once waste is removed it goes for sorting and disposal and cannot be recovered.
- We are not liable for items handed over by mistake, so please make sure nothing you want to keep is in the pile.
- Where a clearance involves documents or personal effects, we do not retain them.
6. Payment
- Payment is due on completion, by card or cash, unless we have agreed invoicing in advance.
- Business accounts are payable within [NUMBER] days of invoice.
- Late commercial payments may carry statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
7. Cancellation
- Cancel or move a booking with at least [NUMBER] hours notice and there is no charge.
- Consumers who book at a distance (phone, WhatsApp or this website) have 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you have asked us to start sooner and we have done the work, we can charge for what has been done.
8. Our responsibilities
- We will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- We hold public liability insurance. Details on request.
- We will tell you if we damage your property while working and put it right or settle it fairly.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for wear caused by moving heavy items along the only available route, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.
- Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Waste and the law
All waste is transferred to licensed facilities. Waste transfer notes are provided as standard to business customers, who are legally required to keep them, and to householders on request. As a registered carrier we comply with the Environmental Protection Act 1990 duty of care.

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
